  1. Auction of Promises, promise to do something for someone in return for a donation.
    Afternoon Tea, entertain your guests with tea, cakes, raffles and music.
  2. Battle of the Bands, a contest for unsigned bands where the audience decides the winner. Offer prizes, sell tickets and set up a refreshments bar.
    Bush Tucker Trial, the more money donated, the stranger the food eaten.
  3. Cake Sale, sell home-made cakes at school, in the office or at your groups meeting.
    Coin Trail, collect as many 2ps in your class as possible, then line them up across the playground. The class with the longest trail wins. Then send the 2ps in to help grant a wish.
    Car Wash, organise to wash friends or families cars for a donation.
    Challenge, set yourself a challenge, you could trek the Inca Trail or simply challenge yourself to raise £18 for our 18th Birthday Celebrations.
  4. Duck Race, sell numbered plastic ducks and race them down a stream.
    Disco, organise a disco or themed evening.
    Donation, send When You Wish Upon a Star an 18th birthday present.
  5. Eating Competition, charge an entrance and simply see who can eat the most.
    Exercise Bike Race, great for the winter months.
  6. Fancy Dress, have a fancy dress party or sponsor someone to wear fancy dress to work for the day.
    Football Tournament, charge teams to enter and ask local businesses to donate prizes.
  7. Give it up, give up smoking, drinking or eating chocolate and donate the money you save, or ask for sponsorship.
    Guess the.., people enter the competition to guess things such as how many sweets in a jar.
  8. Head Shaving, raise sponsorship to shave your hair off.
  9. It’s a Knockout, revive the 80s game show by inviting teams to compete in silly games wit silly costumes. Organise your own or join our’s (see website for details).
  10. Jumble Sale, sell unwanted clothes, books and toys. Everyone loves a good rummage.
    Jewellery Making, sell your products to friends and family.
  11. Karaoke Night, hold an evening of karaoke. Charge a donation to nominate someone to sing and double it as a forfeit if the nominee does not go through with it.
  12. Lunch Money, ask colleagues to bring sandwiches for lunch & donate the money they save
  13. Marathon, get sponsored to take part in a marathon.
    Match the Pet to the Owner Competition, ask your colleagues or class mates to bring in one photo of themselves and one of their pet. Charge people a donation to match up all the photographs, those who get it right win a small prize.
  14. Name The Face, bring in baby photos and have a competition to see if people can match the baby to the adult.
  15. Open Mic Night, comedians, singers, musicians, anyone can get involved, have the audience decide a winner.
    Odd Jobs, carry out odd jobs in exchange for donations.
  16. Plant Sale, sell donated plants or sell pitches to other sellers.
    Pyjama Party, have a girlie night in, with donations given for beauty treatments and midnight feasts.
  17. Quiz Night, gather some teams together and host your own quiz evening.
  18. Record Breaking, get sponsored to attempt to break a record.
    Races, why not give your race a theme, such as, sack, pancake, egg and spoon etc.
    Raffles, try asking local businesses to donate prizes.
  19. Santa Run, take part in one of our Santa Runs (see website for details).
    Smile Day, make a donation to wear or bring something to school/work that makes you smile
    Sponsored Anything!! eg. sponsored swim, silence, walk, slim, or climb, the list is endless...
  20. Theme Nights, choose any theme and charge for entry or activities inside.
    Tournaments, have teams compete in different activities, from football to twister.
  21. Unwanted Gifts, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.
  22. Video/DVD Night, invite friends round to watch a film, charging them for sofa space and snacks.
  23. Waxing, a hair-raising experience for the boys. Get sponsored to wax your legs or chest.
  24. Xmas Hampers, make and sell your own Christmas Hampers, donating the profits.
  25. Yodelling Competition, see who can yodel the loudest or for the longest.
  26. Zodiac Party, invite your friends over for an evening of astrological forecasts and star gazing.
