Every December When You Wish Upon A Star takes 400 children to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas. Their adventure includes skidoos, snowmobiles, husky rides, quad bikes, sledging, skiing and of course sleigh rides with Rudolph in the magical Forest.

With your help our special children can meet Santa...
Take part in a Santa Run in Ayr and you will help us to grant the Wishes of poorly children who dream of meeting Santa Claus in Lapland.

To be held at Ayr Race Course on Sunday 7th December 2008.

It becomes very emotional when Santa meets the children. To see this great big giant of a man listening to a small child, intently telling him all their hopes and dreams and really believing in him, is very moving. This trip means the children, just for one day, can forget about their pain and suffering in the excitement of meeting Santa Claus.

When You Wish Upon A Star relies purely on the generosity and support we receive through donations. It is only with your support that we are able to grant the wishes that come into When You Wish Upon A Star on a daily basis.

Registration is between 8am and 10am with the runs starting at 11am

Cost: Up to 12yrs old £5, Aged 12yrs or over £10
