| About: | Every December When You Wish Upon A Star takes 400 children to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas. Their adventure includes skidoos, snowmobiles, husky rides, quad bikes, sledging, skiing and of course sleigh rides with Rudolph in the magical Forest. With your help our special children can meet Santa...To be held at Wollaton Park, Nottingham on Sunday 13th December 2009 Get into the festive spirit by joining our famous Santa & Santa's Little Helper Great Nottingham Santa Run on Sunday 13th December 2009! It is a run, jog or walk through the park so is suitable for all fitness levels. Entry is just £10 for adults who will receive a santa suit to run in and keep, children (under 12) £5 who will receive an Elf Hat. All entrants receive a medal for taking part. This fun-filled event is great to join in with your colleagues, friends or family. Our Elf dancing warm-up's and festive atmosphere will leave you full of festive cheer and your entry fee and sponsorship will help us to take over 400 poorly children on a magical trip of a lifetime to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas. Registration is between 8am and 10am with the runs starting at 11am |
