Leaving a Legacy

We have teamed up with Get a Will Today to promote legacies and encourage more people to consider leaving a gift to us when writing a will.

Making a will gives a peace of mind and it also enables you to make provision for your partner and family and be sure that your wishes will be carried out. By leaving a legacy to When You Wish Upon a Star, we can make a real difference to children's Wishes long term. Legacy Giving is a powerful tool to ensure that the When You Wish Upon a Star children experience the magic of a Wish come true beyond your lifetime.

With some thoughtful preparation on your part today, you can bring hope, strength and joy to some very sick children tomorrow.

When You Wish Upon a Star has a simple and straight forward mission. It aims to grant the Wishes of children who have a life threatening illness and who, with their families, are living under a shadow. Dreams are very precious to all of us and by making their Wish come true is a real incentive for the sick child and their family and is often the inspiration needed to maintain the family's strength.

How You Can Leave Money to Grant a Child's Wish
