Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final 2015
We are extremely grateful to PPG Architectural Coatings for their continued support and Johnstone's Paint Trophy for helping to make a dream come true for Connor Higgs.
On the 22nd March 2015, over 72,000 people were at Wembley Stadium to see Bristol City defeat Walsall in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final 2015. Our ongoing partnership with PPG Architectural Coatings helps us to continue granting Wishes for many brave and courageous children who are living with life threatening illnesses.
Wish child, Connor Higgs who has leukaemia was given the honour of presenting the ball to match referee Mick Russell ahead of kick-off.
Nicola Brien, Regional Fundraising Manager for When You Wish Upon a Star, said:
“It was a pleasure to meet so many fantastic people from PPG on Sunday who were all incredibly enthusiastic about our partnership. Connor really enjoyed himself, he was so proud and happy to walk the ball onto the pitch at Wembley. We can’t thank you enough for that opportunity.”
The company also held a raffle in the Bobby Moore Suite which raised a fantastic £2,833.70 for Wishes.
