Charlotte and Simon Arnold along with other family members, donated £100 to the trentbarton Namesake initiative as a birthday present for their son Samuel.

Last year When You Wish Upon a Star sent Samuel and his family on a magical trip to Disneyland Paris and since returning his parents have been fundraising for the charity. Their donation through the trentbarton Namesake initiative is another step in their fundraising journey, whilst creating more precious memories with Samuel to celebrate his birthday.

Samuel is known to many of the drivers from his local bus which was brought to the end of Southgate Close where he lives and then took Samuel and his family on their own VIP ride around Mickleover.

Dad explained "Samuel loves going out on a bus and even has a subscription to a bus magazine. At weekends we can just ride around and he's very happy”

During his VIP ride Samuel helped reveal the plaque carrying his name and even got to sit in the driver’s seat.
