Sunrise 5k Run or Walk - Derby
Discover your city in a new light – a 5k run/walk at 5.30am on a Friday morning in the summer.
We all know our cities when they’re filled with people, but what about when they’re deserted and the sun is starting to rise?
On Friday 14th July 2017, Starting in the Market Place in front of the Guildhall Theatre, the route starts by taking in the Cathedral Quarter of the city before heading up the footpaths alongside the River Derwent to Darley Park. You are then brought back to the City via a quiet residential area before enjoying the nature reserve behind the bus station. You then return to the Market Place to finish.
