Fancy taking on a new challenge this year? Maybe ticking off something big off that bucket list? We might have exactly what you are looking for…
This year we find ourselves in a Leap Year so what better way to celebrate that extra day than taking to the skies and taking the plunge to complete a skydive! Every day is a gift, something some of our special Wish families know all too well, so we are running our Leap for a Leap Year campaign to encourage you to do something exciting with the extra day you have this year. By taking on this challenge and fundraising for us, you will be helping to grant some very special Wishes for poorly children across the UK.

At When You Wish Upon A Star we have a one mission, to grant special Wishes of children aged 4-16 living with life threatening illnesses. Our Wishes have the power to transform the lives of the children and families we work with. They allow families to put their child’s illness on hold as they have fun and create precious memories together. From these experiences the children and their families draw extra strength, courage and the resilience to carry on.
We believe our Wish Children are truly magical – they face struggles that many of us simply cannot imagine, and they face their daily fight with incredible strength and bravery. By taking on a skydive challenge and fundraising for us you will be making a huge difference, by helping to grant not just a Wish, but give the gift of a magical memory that will be treasured by a child and their family forever.
With this year being a Leap Year, it’s the perfect opportunity to try something different with that extra day and Leap for a Wish!
