Wish Child Austin completes his 5K Santa Run!

Last weekend our incredible Wish child, Austin, took on a 5K Santa Run with his Uncle Karl to raise money for our Wish granting work!

2020 has been a particularly tough year for Austin, he has suffered two cardiac arrests and is now waiting on further heart surgery. But despite all this he was determined to, in his own words, "help the poorly children", and has raised an incredible £457.50 to help make sure other children are able to receive a magical Wish when they need it most!

Austin joined us last year at our Winter Wonderland weekend at Centre Parcs – a weekend full of festive fun and magic, it was whilst Austin and his Grandma, Dawn, were looking through photos and videos of their time at Winter Wonderland that Austin decided he wanted to make sure other children could also experience the magic of a Wish.
