When You Wish Upon a Star Marks a New Chapter with Office Move and Celebrates 35 Years of Magical Wishes
When You Wish Upon a Star is proud to announce a fresh start as part of its 35th anniversary celebrations, with the charity relocating to a modern and more accessible office at Ash Tree Court, Nottingham.
The move follows the charity’s Annual General Meeting and was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by staff, trustees, and special guests, including one of the charity’s very first Wish Children, Amanda Froggatt, who joined founder Barbara White CIOF OBE to officially open the new premises.
Newly appointed Chair of Trustees, Paul Smith, commented:
“When You Wish Upon a Star is entering an exciting new chapter. With our beautiful new space and the arrival of incoming CEO Joe Williamson in June, we’re well positioned to grow and continue our mission. The new office is bright, welcoming, and designed with our Wish families and supporters in mind.”
The charity extends sincere thanks to Pearce Signs, who generously donated their services and provided fresh, bespoke signage for the new location.
As part of this transition, the charity will be closing the When You Wish Upon a Star Outlet Shop, with its final day of trading on 19th July 2025. While the outlet’s closure marks the end of an era, our commitment remains unchanged: to bring joy, hope, and magical memories to seriously ill children and their families. Remaining stock will be heavily discounted to please visit and secure a bargain. Special thanks go to Aldi and their team for their longstanding support and generosity to the Outlet Shop.
