Wish Children Enjoy a Supercharged Day Out at Silverstone

At When You Wish Upon a Star, we believe in creating moments of pure joy, and that’s exactly what happened during our recent high octane adventure at Silverstone Circuit, where supercars, speed, and smiles came together for a truly unforgettable day.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Modball, Silverstone, and The Entrepreneurs Club, a group of our Wish children and their families were given the VIP treatment at one of the UK’s most iconic racing venues. From the moment the engines roared into life, excitement was in the air and the full Grand Prix Circuit experience didn’t disappoint.

“It was a wonderful day,” said Rachel Haywood, Wish Coordinator at When You Wish Upon a Star.

“The children were absolutely blown away by the incredible supercars. There were so many laughs as they compared them to the Batmobile , it was a magical, high-speed escape from hospital stays and medical routines.”

From passenger laps in some of the world’s fastest cars to posing for photos with vehicles they’d only ever dreamed of, our families shared in an afternoon of thrills, laughter, and light hearted fun something every child should experience.

As part of our 35th anniversary year, this event was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when our supporters come together to make wishes come true.
