Making Wishes Come True: Our 2025 Impact

When You Wish Upon a Star is proud to share its Impact Report 2025, celebrating a year of life‑changing wishes, magical moments and meaningful support for children living with life‑threatening and terminal illnesses across the UK.

The report highlights the extraordinary difference made possible through the charity’s supporters, partners and fundraisers. During 2025, more than 750 Wish children, siblings and parents were supported through the charity’s services, with 83 Wishes granted, alongside joyful Treats and Opportunities that brought families together at times when they needed it most.

From personalised wishes and unforgettable meet‑and‑greets to shared family experiences that offered precious respite from hospital appointments and daily challenges, every moment was carefully designed around what mattered most to each child and family.

One of the standout moments of the year was the return of Disney Wishes, which enabled families to step away from everyday routines and immerse themselves in shared experiences filled with joy, connection and hope. These special moments allowed families to create memories that will be treasured long into the future.

As we look ahead, we are incredibly excited about what’s to come. We are currently in the middle of our 2026 plans, alongside the development of an ambitious new three-year strategy designed to help us build something even bigger and better for the future of Wish.
