Everesting Challenge

Our friend Karl McLelland is undertaking the popular cycling phenomenon known as “Everesting”, he is completing this to raise money for When You Wish Upon a Star to help grant Wishes.

To get an “Everest,” you have to climb a hill of your choice as many times as it takes to reach the total elevation of Mount Everest, which is a staggering 8848 metres, and all being done in under 24 hours!

Karl has chosen the hill near The Wizard at Alderley Edge. He will need lots of physical, mental and cycling strength to achieve his goal,

Karl will climb the hill 95 times during the day and estimates it will take him about 16 hours
