When You Wish Upon a Star Announces CEO Transition as Anita Cleugh Steps Down
Nottingham based UK charity, When You Wish Upon a Star announces that Anita Cleugh will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer after three years of dedicated service to the charity.
Since joining When You Wish Upon a Star in 2022, Anita has played a pivotal role in advancing the charity’s mission, strengthening partnerships, and driving impactful initiatives. Under her leadership, the charity has navigated an increasingly challenging charity landscape, delivered magical experiences for Wish Children, and successfully led milestone events, including a flagship 30th-anniversary trip to Lapland for seriously ill children.
The Board of Trustees expresses its sincere gratitude to Anita for her unwavering commitment and leadership throughout her tenure. The recruitment process for a new CEO is already underway, ensuring a smooth transition for the organisation.
