Matty's Wish

Everyone here at When You WIsh Upon a Star are overjoyed that we have been able to help this amazing brave young mans Wish come true
We have had the pleasure in helping make Matty's Wish come true along with the fantastic support of John Torode and the Master Chef team, Matty has been able to have his dream of cooking for the judges themselves on MasterChef come true.
Wishes are only possible with the help of our amazing supporters and we can not thank you all enough.

We as a family are so grateful to yourself and all those that are involved in making children’s wishes come true. 

We all had an amazing time, it meant so much to us to not only watch Matty having such fun and making very special memories, but also to be able to part of it too! It is a rare treat to watch good things happen as oppose to the not so good of the last 16 months. I’m not sure who actually had the most fun during his Wish, him or us!! Matty would like to thank everyone too, for making his dream come true! On a more personal level, Matty’s wish has given both myself and Steve more confidence to let him start developing into a teenager once again. Watching him cooking semi independently has shown us that he doesn’t need to be constantly wrapped in cotton wool, he can be allowed to grow up and move forwards.... and feed us too!
