Duty Operations Managers Cherylene Camps and Mike Spencer, Technician Dave Seaton and Critical Care Paramedic Karl Bexon accompanied the children and their families to provide medical cover during the trip, which is organised by the children’s charity ‘When you wish upon a star’.

Cherylene has worked with the charity and taken part in the trip for ten years. She said: “It’s a privilege to support these families, and give them reassurance and a break during such difficult times. The temperatures are but I still get a heart warming feeling seeing the children with smiles on their faces. This trip allows families to build everlasting memories and it’s an honour to be a part of that.”
