Superhero Wish Walk 2021
On Friday 25th June, Superheroes from across the UK came together with one mission in mind – to raise money to grant Wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses across the UK.
Schools, families and supporters dressed up in their best Superhero outfits and went out to walk for Wishes – whether it was a lap around the playground or a hike up Snowdon, every step and every penny makes a huge difference!
With over 70 schools and individuals taking part, we saw some incredible costumes across the country, from Wonder Woman to Captain Tom Moore – and everything in between!
Our amazing supporters were letting nothing stop them – people were out walking in the rain and wind, and some schools and supporters even had classes and children isolating due to Covid. One school has rearranged their walk to make sure every child can take part in the magic, whilst some supporters took on their challenge up and down the stairs whilst in their isolation!
We have still got donations coming in – but we will announce the day’s grant fundraising total once every penny is counted! Thank you to every Superhero that took part – we can’t wait to see you again next year!
