Tom's Wish

Tom, aged 12, lives with KDM5C Syndrome, which can cause neuropsychiatric symptoms, such as intellectual disability, epilepsy and impulsivity.

Tom loves trucks and cars but his main passion is Butlins, especially visiting with his family. At Butlins, Tom enjoys the live shows, the on-site fairground rides and the swimming pool. These activities meet so many of his sensory needs where he is just at his happiest!

Knowing that Butlins is Tom's happy place, we were pleased to grant Tom's Wish to visit Butlins for a weeks holiday, with his favourite people.

During his holiday to Butlins in Skegness, Tom got to do all his favourite things. From watching the incredible live shows, including the many adventures of the Skyline Gang, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears pantomime, swimming in the pool, going on many of the rides and also visiting the beach. Tom loved every second, even more so as he had his family right by his side.  

Tom really lived the Butlins dream!
